Hello, colleagues. ACES is again running the Advanced Alternate Route to Becoming a Library Media Specialist. Graduates earn an 062 certification. Although through word of mouth (thank you) we do have enough applicants to run the program, we want to be
sure that the brochures and applications get into the hands of teachers you believe would make excellent library media specialists. It's always good to have the richest pool of candidates from which to choose.

Due to a change in and small misunderstanding of job descriptions, this information did not get to the listserv. Consequently ACES has decided to extend the application postmark deadline to Feb. 29. If an applicant cannot get all necessary
recommendations in on time, we will still accept the paper application contingent upon expected receipt of letters.
