ACTION REQUESTED:  AASL School Libraries Count! Survey -Deadline to participate 
Thursday, March 15th!
 
If you haven’t already, please complete the AASL School Libraries Count! 
survey.  The survey can be accessed directly at www.aaslsurvey.org.  You can 
also access a ‘tip sheet’ to collect the data needed prior to accessing the 
survey at www.ala.org/aasl/slcsurvey.  If you have your data ahead of time the 
survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
 
Remember, the data collected is used by AASL for national, state and local 
advocacy efforts.  More importantly, by participating you will be able to access 
your individualized reports which compares your school  to like schools (size 
and grade level) within your state and nationally- a free library advocacy tool 
just for participating.  Don’t miss this opportunity- www.aaslsurvey.org.
