[CASL-L] ipads with intermediate elementary students

Hi All,

Our PTO is looking at buying 3-5 Ipads for our school as a pilot for next
year. 
I've been asked to put together a proposal for using IPads with our grades
4-6 students. I would love to hear from anyone who has some suggestions of
ways they've used IPads with this age level (especially in a small group
setting?). 

As I see it, I could support some independent research projects.  My
daughter has just used IMovie to create a clip for her science fair
project, so I am familiar with this. I understand they can be used as
responders as well (although less useful for me since I'm limited to 3-5
units) Any other ideas or favorite apps?
