[CASL-L] Methods for Cataloging Equipment

Dear Colleagues,

I find that I am accumulating a fair amount of equipment to be barcoded for lending purposes - flip cameras, computer cables, webcams, microphones, etc. Does anyone know of a good system for cataloging these items and keeping track of them? I can put
them into Alexandria and give them a barcode number, but I feel that it may quickly become confusing.
