Our library para, Monica Galindez, is very well versed in Latin American
authors and books. Here are her recommendations:

Any of these four books by Pablo Cartaya:
1. Marcus Vegas doesn't speak Spanish
2. Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora
3. The Last BeeKeeper
4. Each tiny spark

or book one in the Merci Suárez series (Merci Suárez changes gears)
by Meg Medina

or Undercover Latina (book 1 in the series)
by Aya de León

or the graphic novel: Invisible
by Christina Diaz Gonzalez (author) and Gabriela Epstein (illustrator)
