Hi,

We've done one tied to our One School One Book title theme.

   - Here is the StoryWalk info
   <https://www.kellogghubbard.org/_files/ugd/0f622b_e1b3745b5e75441fa50ba88274da79fb.pdf>.
I did include the trademark statement.
   - The hardest part was taking apart a book (just felt wrong-LOL). You
need two copies. Number the pages before taking the book apart or have a
   3rd copy available.
   - The illustrations may not line up perfectly when you put two pages
together at the gutter or where they touched the center of the book.
   - Bought something like these yard signs
   <https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093B9T4JK/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?pd_rd_i=B093B9T4JK&pd_rd_w=aP4kt&content-id=amzn1.sym.386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_p=386c274b-4bfe-4421-9052-a1a56db557ab&pf_rd_r=DFB29W1K0Y1AC0K4GYHD&pd_rd_wg=NXiKn&pd_rd_r=525881cd-83b1-439d-acb1-4c435d61ebea&s=lawn-garden&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWxfdGhlbWF0aWM&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyVzBNUFJPSk9ITjBCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwODUzMzU3OFhJSEJPU0xDU0xYJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1ODI0NjIzQzA1RlkwTDJNVjhBJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfZGV0YWlsX3RoZW1hdGljJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1>
(can't find the exact ones I bought).
   - Laminated book pages to help them last. Rain still got in. Next time I
may wrap packing tape around the edges too.
   - I numbered the signs.
   - We have an arboretum on our school campus for which we have a map. I
put the storywalk sign numbers on the map. Classes could pick the map up in
the LRC and return it when done.
   - This book list
   <https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/SDE/CTRead/SR2023_ReadingList.pdf> has
places around CT that installed StoryWalks.
   - Don't know much about this resource, Curious City
   <https://www.curiouscitydpw.com/storywalk/>, which helps you make
   StoryWalk. Just came across it.
   - More info from UNC Greensboro School of Education.

Students and teachers loved it!
Have fun,
Sharon
