The premature timeout in the ProQuest platform seems to be confined Internet Explorer, and is sporadic at that.  ProQuest suggests use of FireFox as a temporary workaround as their technical staff continues to pursue a permanent fix. Chrome seems to work ok as well.  I will write again when I have more information.
