Move over Photoshop: Introduction to GNU Image Manipulation (GIMP) – Oct. 4th (Bristol PL) (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)
GIMP, a free open source program, will help you create and edit professional quality images. It rivals Photoshop in its features but it’s free. In this 6 hour class we’ll cover basic picture editing, inserting and formatting text, selecting areas of the picture, working with layers, using the drawing tools and applying filters and effects.

Topics include:
•Working with the GIMP user interface
•Saving to multiple formats
•Basic color/lighting correction
•Combining pictures
•Working with layers
•Adding text
•Applying filters and effects

Excel 2007: From Start to Finish – Oct. 5th (Pt.1), Oct. 12th (Pt.2), Oct. 19th (Pt.3) & Oct. 26th (Pt.4) (MLSC) (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. each day)
This series of four half-day classes will bring you from novice to advanced professional.
