Subject: [aaslforum] Learning Commons in British Columbia
Reply-To: aaslforum@ala.org
I think you might be interested in this video about the spread of learning commons and how it is affecting student lives. The elementary example seems a bit weak, but the concept is growing not only in British Columbia but also in Alberta and Ontario. You might also be interested in the new concept of Book2Cloud that is a reinvention of the ebook into a collaborative creative space to develop deep understandings of complex texts. and if you like the idea, please help create them or suggest titles that need to be added.http://sites.google.com/site/book2cloud--
