Hi Everyone,
While this email serves as a reminder for current NESLA members to hopefully renew their membership, we would also encourage those who are not currently NESLA members to also join.
We here in New England have a unique opportunity with NESLA. It is the only regional school library organization in the country represented in AASL and the ALA Affiliate Assembly (Region 1).
With all the issues we are facing it is especially important to use the resources we have both statewide with CASL and also region wide through NESLA to make sure our voices are heard. It also helps to know that the incoming AASL President, Sue Ballard is also a former NESLA President.
Membership is only $20 if you belong to CASL.
We hope you'll join us.

The NESLA Membership year runs from September 1, 2011 to August 31, 2012.
