Good morning,
I am very happy to announce that both of the winners of the I Love My Librarian Award are CLA members. We'd like to celebrate with them (and Caroline Kennedy, the keynote speaker) by having a large contingent of Connecticut librarians at the event. Please check out the invitation below. We've decided that hiring a bus is probably not practical, but we can try to coordinate train schedules so everyone travels together. Details will follow.
CLA has been notified that two librarians from Connecticut are among the 10 winners of the 2011 Carnegie Corporation of New York/New York Times I Love My Librarian Award!
Come cheer them on at the award ceremony, hosted by The New York Times. With a special appearance by Caroline Kennedy, it promises to be the most uplifting library event of the year.
