CASL members and friends, If you have trouble setting up an account or logging in on the White House web site to sign the petition, it is not just you. I
don't know why the site is so buggy. But, be persistent. I finally got to sign the thing!

Subject: [CASL-L] Let's do the math!
Carl originally posted his ESEA petition on January 5th. Since then, its been collecting about 500 signatures per day. Not bad, right? Well...it isn't enough. At this rate, we'll barely scrape by the half way
mark when our time runs out on February 4th. We only have 25 days left! While we urge you to sign, we urge you to spread the word too. I know we are all getting bombarded with these messages. That's a good thing. It's for the future of school libraries, school
librarians, and learning, and that is worth a little inbox clutter for 25 days. Please help!
