Once you get to the site by this link or by the tiny url, you must create an account.  They will send you an email to verify an active email account with a link that will bring you back to the petition for your signature.  I just had a friend sign w/o any problems, and sure enough the number went up by one.

Please encourage your staff, volunteers, parents, children over 13 and others to sign the petition for more school library funding by Feb. 4th.  TIA

Am trying to sign this petition as I tried last week, but it appears I cannot create an account.  Is there a trick to this?  I'm not inclined to send this request out to my staff if it is not an "easy do".....
