What is not always clear is how students learn from games. As an instructor teachers need to be equipped with
strategies for identifying opportunities for learning. This session will explore techniques to assist instructors in how to develop and identify opportunities that engage students in higher-order thinking skills. The presenter, Brad Henry, is a 16 year professional of the IT industry. Brad's work experience extends from the development of global systems architecture infrastructures for a Fortune 500 company, educational researcher in technological integration, linguistics, cognition, artificial intelligence, and student learning outcomes. In addition his work extends into the development of curriculum and instructional design methodologies. He also works with several national distance educational programs and is the President of Edutechnologic, llc. eTech Ohio hosts the third largest state educational technology conference in the country where more than 6,500 educational innovators gather once a year and share their successes and challenges with one another. The conference is an opportunity for educators to honestly share their experiences-what works, and what doesn't-for the benefit of their peers.
