Dear CASL Colleagues,

The MSLA Conference Committee has planned a fantastic program for our annual conference, March 4-5, 2012 in Hyannis on Cape Cod and we'd like to invite you to join us!
 
Our program is packed with the hottest names in our profession. Sunday's featured speakers are two of the most highly regarded authorities on school libraries and technology, Ross Todd and Alan November. Author and motivational speaker Tim Green will speak at lunch, and AASL President-Elect Susan Ballard will be our dinner speaker. Sunday's program will also include an Author Meet & Greet, Exhibit Hall Opening Reception, the MSLA awards, and a special after-dinner presentation and book signing by author Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid).

On Monday, we'll feature school library greats Joyce Valenza, Buffy Hamilton and Christopher Harris, 2010 AASL School Library Program of the Year winner (and your CASL colleague) Michelle Luhtala, author Jarrett Koroszka, Karen Brennan of MIT's Scratch project, and Universal Design Specialist Lori Cooney, along with many other notable colleagues from our state and region. A first on Monday will be the public judging and announcement of the winners of MSLA's annual and ever-popular Bookmark Contest.We'll have a whole batch of different authors for you to meet and greet on Monday, and we'll end the day with a block-buster panel discussion with our featured speakers on the Future of School Libraries.
