Hi Everyone,
Check out the latest AASL Blog post written by the AASL Intellectual Freedom Committee with a little help from staff at 3 publishing houses- Michelle Bayuk from Albert Whitman, Liz Bicknell of Candlewick Press, and Jason Wells from Abrams. The idea for the blog came from group discussion begun at a self-censorship session during at the AASL Conference in Minneapolis. Read what the reps from these 3 publishing houses have to say in answer to the question: “ Does the possibility of self-censorship affect what you decide to publish?”
Post your comments, and return next week for their answers to a second question.
