Oh my...what an opportunity to turn the place into a physical learning commons. Envision lots of project work being done by individuals, small groups, and large groups in a multimedia and wireless environment. Actually, this is the topic of my graduate class tomorrow night, Tuesday, at six pm Pacific.  Let me know if any of your out there would like to attend via Blackboard Collaborate.  I will send the URL.

We are also doing a tour of the various spaces the students have created of the Virtual Learning Commons.

If you join us, give us your input as if it were a webinar...

The first hour will probably be the VLC tour and the second, the physical learning commons.

Hello!
I've just signed on as the Media Specialist for a High School in inner-city Atlanta. I have a great deal of space that is open and unused. Do any of you have ideas for "special sections" or areas that you've created for your students?

Thank you,
Shanna Miles
