My principal thinks it would be a good idea for me to teach "Library Skills" classes to 8th graders next year. The way she envisions it, I would teach one quarter of the 8th grade students each quarter, seeing them once a week. The classes would be quite large, 25-30 students.

She has asked me to find out if any middle school librarians are doing anything similar, and if so, what type of material they teach.

If anyone is in a similar situation, I'd love to hear what you teach the students.
