Subject: [NESLAmembers] Fw: Great article!

Imagine my delight when I had an envelope from my new director of
schools in this morning's school mail delivery, and it was a fabulous
article entitled "Are Librarians Still Important?" from Scholastic
Administrator magazine. One of the high school librarians and I went
to meet the new director last week just so we could advocate for our
district library programs and let her know we're here... She called us
"vital" and her sending me this article made my day! One great thing
about this article is that it was written by someone who's not a
librarian! I guess the article was initiated by Scholastic. By the
way, the answer to the question in the title...."Yes. In fact, they're
more important than ever."
