Transliteracy and the School Library Program is designed to help school librarians develop strategies to effectively integrate transmedia skills into the curriculum creating opportunities for students and teachers to engage in the participatory online environment.

Leading the discussion and presenting the keynote address is renowned author and media studies scholar, Henry Jenkins.  Kristin Fontichiaro and R. David Lankes will join Henry Jenkins in providing a comprehensive overview of transliteracy and its importance in education.
