Subject: Webinar Tomorrow 10/17: Standards, Part 1 (CCSS)

Join us for the next Emerging Tech webinar!

Standards, Part I (Common Core State Standards)
Wednesday, October 17, 2012 - 5PM ET

In This Session
Ask not what standards can do for you, but rather what you can do for your standards! In this practical “how to” session, we will review the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), explore professional development offerings librarians can  share with their faculty, and rethink traditional information literacy lessons with CCSS in mind. We will also suggest strategies for archiving these instructional offerings, thus creating an crowd-sourced inventory of students lessons and professional development training  to which librarians can refer as needed.
