Dear Irene,

AASL is participating in an exciting new collaboration, the National Center for Literacy Education (NCLE), a coalition of 30 leading non-profit organizations committed to improving literacy teaching and learning in all content areas. NCLE has a particular focus on promoting and supporting the power of educator teams as drivers of change in teaching and learning.
 
As part of this effort, we are asking all of our members to participate in the National Survey on Collaborative Professional Learning. Findings from this survey will be used to help shape national and state policies in support of professional learning for educators. AASL’s participation in this survey will provide valuable data about how you work with your students and colleagues, allowing us to better meet your professional learning needs.
