Digital citizenship has many meanings to many people, and our ability to teach it is sometimes contingent upon the tools to which we have access in school. We will explore strategies to embed citizenship in core curricular lessons as well as review existing curricula that is available for adoption. We will discuss the librarian’s role in digital citizenship training, and discuss the advantages and challenges involved in teaching citizenship in the 21st century.
