Good Afternoon

I have a quick question for those of you who have been involved in the acquisition of library shelving.

Are there safety standards or other standards that you’ve used to determine if library shelving is safe for use in a school? I have some of shelving units here that were donated by well meaning folks in the past, but am concerned that I may be out of compliance in some area of safety if I use them. Would like to know if there is any guidance on this in the professional literature or otherwise.
