The New England School Library Association's annual conference "Picture This! Using Your Visual Literacy Skills" will be at the Eric Carle Museum of the Picture Book in Amherst, MA on August 5, 2013.  Leonard S. Marcus, noted historian and critic, is the keynote speaker.  Illustrator/author Mary Newell DePalma will participate in the breakout session discussing the visual literacy standards-- one of four breakout sessions.

This will be a fabulous event in a great city, the home of Emily Dickinson.  All educators are welcome.

Registration is limited to 125 so register early!
