My nephew started Torrington High this year and they did a whole school read of The Fault In Our Stars. Great fiction book!

My freshmen teachers and participating students loved this year’s One Book, One Region selection: Little Princes by Conor Grennan. Nonfiction, engaging author and story. Global and humanitarian.

Subject: [CASL-L] Summer Reading

Our freshmen teachers are looking for a summer reading book for incoming freshmen.

They already have Cut and The Contender.

Any other ideas?  They are looking for fiction and non-fiction.

Thanks,

Matt
