Subject: [CASL-L] RE: argumentative writing resources

Have you looked at the Opposing Viewpoints series of books? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opposing_Viewpoints_series

They cover a very wide variety of topics and are usually fairly short (though not article-short). Many libraries carry these and would be available via reQuest. We also have a good deal of them here in Middletown at the Service Center that you can borrow for 90 days.

Subject: [Conntech] argumentative writing resources

Our seventh and eighth grade Language Arts teachers are looking for resources that have short articles with opposing views that can be used for arumentive writing. Thanks.
