Hi Kristine,

Be excited about 3 hours of time! You can share/demo whatever sites/tools you decide upon (maybe send out a google form ahead of time to get feedback about where the most interest is). Have teachers create accounts if needed, then give them time to actively use/explore. You can even have closure at the end. Biggest frustration sometimes for teachers is not having the time to use their new learning.

Hi everyone,

I was asked about the possibility of creating PD for teachers for our upcoming PD day in February.  I have done PD workshops before for staff, but they are typically 1 or so hour long.  This would be 3 hours.  I am having some anxiety about filling this time constructively.

I would like to show teachers some great online resources available to them, such as PBS Learning Media, Newsela, EduCanon, Thinglink, Edweb, etc.  I am looking for advice, suggestions, feedback to help me decide if I ultimately will do it and if you have any additional suggestions for great sites to use.

Thank you!!
