All of the schools in our city use NetSupport.  It does all of the things you mention, plus more.

Hello all, hope you are having a good New Year.
We are in the market for an upgrade to our computer monitoring system and would like some feedback from other users. Currently, we are using an old version of Vision (Vision 6) and are looking at a few other systems as well as the latest Vision. The other systems are from Lanschool and Smarttech. As way of introduction, we need a way to monitor and sometimes take control of about 100 computers (in the whole school) from the  library. We need to be able to set up lists to limit internet access to selected sites, block access to certain programs, generally have extremely tight control.
If you're not familiar with Connecticut Juvenile Training School, we are a DCF residential facility for serious juvenile offenders, mostly aged 15-18, so we have a need for security (i.e no email access or access to social media sites).
Thanks,
