Make a difference in the future of education by joining AASL
this February 5th for Digital Learning Day!

In today's interconnected world, the way students learn is increasingly reliant on digital technologies. This doesn't just mean having the newest resources and gadgets, it means fully integrating digital learning throughout the entire educational experience to fully prepare students for success in college and career.

Build the wave of innovation this February 5th by ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn in an innovative, digital environment. Here are some great materials that you can use to promote your participation in Digital Learning Day to parents, community leaders, and students:
  1. Take the Pledge

  2. Add your event to the interactive map

  3. Create your posters, fliers, social  networking activities and events using the bright spots and make a difference campaign graphics.

  4. Post a Digital Learning Day banner or button on your website.

  5. Embed a link to the student or teacher DLD perspective video in an appropriate place on your website or share on social media.

  6. Use these Cool Facts and Figures and this The Nation's Schools Are Stepping Up to Higher Standards Infographic to make the case for your participation in this worthwhile effort.

  7. Schedule some of these sample Tweets to promote your Digital Learning Day activities. Be sure to tag your tweets with the hashtag #DLDay!

School librarians have the opportunity to increase awareness, thinking, and discussion around technology and digital learning before Digital Learning Day by reaching out to administrators, district leaders, parents, students, and community members.

Join us to make a difference with digital learning!
