Join us for the third in a series of webinars showcasing the Inspiring Middle School Literacy collection of cross-curricular blended lessons. These media-rich lessons are ready made for flipping while supporting literacy strategies and the Common Core.
Troy Cockrum, flipped learning middle school teacher along with Kari Arfstrom, Executive Director of the Flipped Learning Network will clear up some of the mystique surrounding the flipped classroom. Troy will show and tell how he balances creating with curating videos to assign his students, and will walk us through a sample flipped lesson on Anne Frank. We'll finish up with a quick tour of PBS LearningMedia where you have free access to over 30,000 learning objects and resources, ripe for curating to use in your flipped planning, including the middle school literacy lesson, Character Change: The Diary of Anne Frank.
