Seats are still available for the these webinars and workshops, happening next week:

User Experience Research 101 (RUSA webinar)

Interested in applying UX research to your library but not sure where to start? This 90 minute webinar will introduce the concept of user experience, research planning, and practical research methods to librarians who may not have formal training in user experience research. Content of the webinar will be structured along the user-centered design process to help the audience integrate user experience research into their existing work. We will also use real-world examples from libraries.

Using Infographics in Library Instruction (ALA TechSource Workshop)

Because library instruction encompasses visual literacy and because data abounds on campus and corporate networks, your students need the skills to read and interpret charts and graphs accurately. In this webinar, Caitlin Bagley will show you how to incorporate the basics of Infographics in your library instruction, capturing students’ attention and making learning active.

Keeping Up with Technology Trends

Apps, tweets, feeds, memes, blogs... With so much information flowing through the Internet, it can be hard to stay up to date on trends in technology that apply to you. In this half-day workshop, Adam Delaura will show you ways to collect and organize the information you want.
