The editors of Library Journal are excited to be undertaking a broad national survey to gather current data on library-related salaries. This inaugural survey will complement LJ's Annual Placements & Salaries Survey, which focuses on librarians' first job after graduation from a Masters' program, with insights into salaries at all career levels and across institution type. If you are a librarian working in a library or using your degree in an alternate setting or if you're a paralibrarian, Library Journal requests your assistance in gathering insight into compensation trends via this survey.
We understand that much of this data is sensitive in nature and pledge that all data will be shown in aggregate form only. Median salaries for multiple positions will be published in the July issue of Library Journal.
