Why Not Just Google It? Comparing iCONN OneSearch with Internet Search Engines

Although the Internet is home to vast amounts of information, and is useful for some types of searches, OneSearch provides access to millions of pages of reliable, vetted content which is typically not available on the free web. OneSearch also provides tools for more precise searching and managing search results, and access to reQuest, the statewide library catalog. In this 45 minute session, we will compare iCONN OneSearch with various popular Internet search engines, and review the many ways in which OneSearch can easily bring your patrons to the high-value content that they need.
