Hi,
Christine, It's not your district. Google has been doing some upgrades to Docs, and as a result, there have been some glitches.
I had contacted Google personally about a different glitch we were seeing at some schools I've been working with, and was told the following:
I can confirm that a fix for this issue has now been rolled out. There
were updates going through in Google Drive that conflicted with the application, these have since been rolled back.
Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused.
Are you still losing work that's not saving? If so, can you describe what's happening and send it to me?
Please type it out so all I have to do is copy and paste. It's faster if you describe in your own words, and I don't have to re-type.
1) Give as much info as possible - browser you're using, laptops or Chromebooks, etc
2) Where are the students - lab situation, classroom with mobile carts, etc.
3) Happening just at school or on home computers too?
I can tell you there are more issues with Internet Explorer. I'd use Chrome, Firefox, or Safari
I will see what I can find out.
