Hi,
I was excited about Lucid Press after Saturday's unconference, but when I looked at the terms it said that the user had to be old enough to enter into a legal contract with Lucid. Here is their response on how to set up an education account.
I'm curious - what grade levels are people using Lucid Press with, it seems a little involved.
Thanks,
Sue Crean

Hi Sue,

Thanks for your interest in Lucidpress for education! We can easily upgrade your account to our free education account. Please follow these simple steps:

  1. If you haven't already, sign up for a free trial using your education email address.
  2. If you already have an account, log in to your account and ensure your email address is your school email address. If necessary, change your email/username via User Settings.
  3. Fill out the form accessed by clicking "Request free upgrade" on the Educator Page. Make sure to include the number of users.
  4. Wait for us to approve your account. You will receive a confirmation email.
  5. Once the account is set up, you can then invite students and other faculty members to join the team from the Team Management page of your account. We can also create a custom URL for your class to use. When registering through this custom URL, students and faculty will automatically be added to your account.

To create a Lucidpress account, a user needs to be old enough to create an email address. On an Educational Team, the Account Admin (an educator) can add or invite users to join the team, and will have full access to all documents, sharing privileges, Drive Integration settings, etc.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or details about your situation. I would be happy to advise! Thanks again for using Lucidpress!

Warm Regards,

Hi,
Are there age restrictions on the app that integrates with Google? On your
web product terms, it says the user must be able to enter into a legal
contract, so I am thinking that means 18. I have read that you have an
education version.
Please advise,
Thanks,
Sue Crean
