Good morning! The district where I’m working has created a new position at the Middle School and is looking for applicants. The library media specialist will have a combination fixed/flexible schedule. The teaching component includes information literacy and research skills and technology skills.   This is a great opportunity to build a library media program with a supportive Principal and Assistant Principal (former social studies teacher!)….This school has not had a library media specialist for 5 years. Despite that, the library is housed in the new middle school (less than 10 years old) with an attached computer lab and a very nice book collection.
