Need some hands-on experience with eReaders? Want some help with the eBook download process?
The CT State Library is offering comprehensive, soup-to-nuts workshops on all things eBooks.
In these fun, free, hands-on workshops, Adam Delaura will help you master the OverDrive and/or OneclickDigital platform, from obtaining the correct software/apps and creating the necessary accounts, to searching for titles, placing holds, and downloading ebooks and audiobooks to various devices. He will also have several devices on hand for you to practice with. There will be time for Q and A so you can learn as much as you need to become the eBook expert at your library. No eBook experience necessary.
Please bring appropriate devices if ones are available to you. We will provide a limited number of devices to practice with if you don’t bring one of your own. Please bring your home library card – you will use this to access Overdrive/OneclickDigital.
The first set of workshops (one focused on OverDrive, the other on OneclickDigital) will be held on June 25 (at 9am and 1pm, respectively) at the Bethel Public Library.
Future workshops will be scheduled at other locations throughout the state. If you would like to host these at your library, please contact me, and we can set something up.
Seats are limited, so be sure to register in advance!
