I just attended Adam's eBook Essential sessions at the Bethel Public Library last Wednesday, and he is a great instructor! Go to this if you can! You will learn a lot.

Adam’s awesome eBooks Essentials classes will be held at the Acton Library in Old Saybrook on August 5!
Click on the links below to register.

eBooks are an integral part of library work these day, and it is necessary for library staff to know how to help their patrons get connected and access the eBooks we offer to them.

In these comprehensive, hands-on workshops, Adam Delaura will help you master the OverDrive and OneclickDigital platforms, from obtaining the correct software/apps and creating the necessary accounts, to searching for titles, placing holds, and downloading books to various devices. He will also have several devices on hand for you to practice with. There will be time for Q and A so you can learn as much as you need to become the eBook expert at your library.

Please bring appropriate devices if ones are available to you. We will provide a limited number of devices to practice with if you don’t bring one of your own. Please bring your library card.

NOTE: This class will be held at various other locations throughout the state. Keep an eye on the calendar to see when we’re bringing the class to your area!
