EBSCO has scheduled a webinar on “Integrating iCONN EBSCO Resources with Common Core” for the following dates: July 11, August 6, August 12 and August 21. The description is:
“In this 1 hour session, we will provide a brief overview of the Common Core Curriculum Standards, and examine how various EBSCO resources provided by iCONN can help you implement those standards. Topics will include: locating appropriate materials for students of various reading levels and learning styles; fulfilling requirements for research using electronic media, primary, and secondary sources; integrating charts and graphs; and specific interface features such as searching by Lexile level and Text-to-Speech. We will also review ways that you can use iCONN EBSCO resources in preparing lesson plans and citing Common Core standards.”
