Keynote Speaker: Philip Yenawine, co-founder of Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) and Visual Understanding in Education
(10-15 PDPs) The Carle and Smith College invite you to join a host of distinguished presenters as we explore the joys and challenges that exist in the education of young children. How might we be inspired and informed to support the multiple literacies of all children? With a focus on the importance of observation, communication, and collaboration, this conference will highlight the development and learning potential of children and the importance of teachers and care givers to stand "on the side of childhood."
