September sprint Rebecca T. Miller, Editor-in-Chief With summer unofficially now at an end, let the real fun begin as the awards talk heats up—welcome back Heavy Medal!—schools get into full swing, and all of you hit a full sprint as you set the pace in your schools and libraries. SLJ, which turns 60 this month, is at a full sprint, too. Our own awards season is upon us (the Buzz Award deadline coming right up), and we’re ramping up for our free full day Digital Shift virtual event, October 1—with tracks on Collaboration and Innovation; Leading the Learning Revolution; and Content, Containers and Beyond; as well as robust networking in the virtual conference environment. As a sort of warm up, don’t miss the upcoming lesson in Greek mythology coming via live stream with Rick Riordan, September 23.
