Subject: [aaslforum] The Fixed vs. flexible schedule in elementary school libraries
Reply-To: aaslforum@ala.org

For the past fifty years, the battle between the fixed schedule and the flexible schedule in elementary school libraries has been waging. As new possibilities arise in the world of information and technology, I am wondering if a think tank of thinkers might develop an alternative solution to either/or thinking. I am looking for 15 people, both theorists and practitioners who would like to spend one hour for two sessions thinking abut new approaches and opportunities. If you would like to volunteer, just email me, David Loertscher at reader.david@gmail.com and who knows what we might all cook up together!
