The Foundation for Children's Books is now Wondermore!

We will continue to educate and inspire teachers, librarians and other children's book lovers at our "What's New in Children's Books?" events.

These twice-yearly events are informal, fun mornings that are open to the public. We hear from inspiring voices in the world of children's books. We learn about great new books for fall from expert pickers. And we enjoy connecting with both the speakers and our fellow participants over coffee, refreshments, and book signings.

In addition to the speakers pictured here, Christian Porter, librarian at the Park School, and Terri Schmitz, owner of the Children's Book Shop, will share their favorite new books for fall 2014. 

 


 

 

 

Fees and registration:

 

-$65.00 for individuals

-$25.00 for students (with valid ID)

-$40.00 for institutional members (if your organization pays for an annual membership with the FCB)

-FREE for current Lesley University students and staff

-$40 for Lesley alums

-FREE for all Boston Public School staff

Thanks to our partnership with the Lesley University MFA in Creative Writing Program, our fall program will be held at University Hall at Lesley University, conveniently located next to the Porter Square T stop on the Red Line. Paid, discounted parking is available in the lot behind the building and some metered spots are available on Mass. Ave.
