Hi all,

 

Our school is considering having Janice Hechter come for an author visit.  She is local, affordable, and is both an author & illustrator.  Her website has some nice feedback and the description of her presentation seems to be what we are looking for...but, I had a brief conversation with her by phone and she friendly but was very dry & didn't seem like she'd be too flexible in adapting when I explained the space she would be using.  Now, I have my doubts!

 

So, I don't want to pre-judge and was wondering is any of you have had her visit?  My school is preK-3rd so want someone engaging.  Thanks for any advice.
