This is just a reminder that EBSCO is offering two webinars of interest to school media specialists:
1. Integrating iCONN EBSCO Resources with Common Core on November 17th @ 11:00 a.m.
In this 1 hour session, EBSCO will provide a brief overview of the Common Core Curriculum Standards, and examine how various EBSCO resources provided by iCONN can help you implement those standards. Topics will include: locating appropriate materials for students of various reading levels and learning styles; fulfilling requirements for research using electronic media, primary, and secondary sources; integrating charts and graphs; and specific interface features such as searching by Lexile level and Text-to-Speech. We will also review ways that you can use iCONN EBSCO resources in preparing lesson plans and citing Common Core standards.

2. iCONN/EBSCO Databases for School Libraries on November 20th at 3:00 p.m.
This 90-minute training session will focus on individual EBSCOhost databases provided by iCONN that are most relevant to School Libraries. It will cover basic and advanced searching in EBSCOhost, along with specific interfaces, including Kids Search, Student Research Center, History Reference Center, and more.
