To serve our patrons in a whole new way, and to get them talking to each other, consider undertaking a Human Library. In this workshop, Amy Greer will talk about what the Human Library is, how it works, and how it can change the way your library interacts with and engages your community.

In this session, learn how the importance of connecting with your community wins the public's vote everyday; how to align the library's "voice" using word-of-mouth marketing techniques; how to avoid creating a library "insider's club" that makes it difficult for new people to get involved with your library; publicity/display/signage basics; how to build your base of support online; and how to embrace trying new things.
