Everyone:

iCONN is pleased to release a universal link to EBSCO Consumer Reports for use in the library or from home. Here is the link:

http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,cpid&direct=true&db=f5h&jid=CRP&site=ehost-live&scope=site&custid=csl

How the link operates:

Within the library, school, college or university the link will detect your institution's registered IP address and will let users in to the Consumer Reports publication page with no further authentication.

Outside the library, school, college or university the link will prompt for a Connecticut public library card number on an iCONN branded login screen. Once the card number is submitted, the user will land in the Consumer Reports publication page.

Feel free to post or bookmark the link as you see fit. The link will be added today to documents available from the Links to iCONN Resources page at:

http://www.cslib.org/iconnsitemap/staff/urltable.aspx

Related to this link, iCONN also has a Consumer Reports search box for posting to your web sites. For more information about that, see the iCONN Times January 2014 issue at:

As always, questions are welcomed.
