In consultation with iCONN, EBSCO has scheduled eight training webinars during January and February of 2015. Training topics include Integrating iCONN EBSCO Resources with Common Core and iCONN/EBSCO Databases for School Libraries. Both sessions have been updated since their first appearance last year. Here are some specifics about each training session:
Integrating iCONN EBSCO Resources with Common Core
Topics will include: locating appropriate materials for students of various reading levels and learning styles; fulfilling requirements for research using electronic media, primary, and secondary sources; integrating charts and graphs; and specific interface features such as searching by Lexile level and Text-to-Speech.
iCONN/EBSCO Databases for School Libraries
This session will cover basic and advanced searching in EBSCOhost, along with specific interfaces, including the all-new EBSCO interface for school libraries, the History Reference Center, Science Reference Center and more.
