School Library Month Digital Storytelling Contest - Deadline Extended
The American Association of School Librarians empowers leaders to transform teaching and learning.

Digital Storytelling Contest

Deadline extended to March 20


As part of the 30th Anniversary of School Library Month, AASL is hosting a student Digital Storytelling Contest. The focus of the contest is the 2015 theme, “Your School Library: Where Learning Never Ends.”

Have your students create stories using an AASL Best Website for Teaching & Learning and a special author guest judge will determine the final winner per grade level!

Winners will receive a set of books signed and personalized by the judging author. Entries due by midnight on March 20. Submit your students' today!

Pre-K-2nd Grade

Susan Verde will judge entries created with Storybird.
 

Grades 3-5

Amy Ignatow will judge entries created with FlipSnack.
 

Grades 6-8

Trevor Pryce will judge entries created with Zooburst.
 

Grades 9-12

Lauren Myracle will judge entries created with Animoto.
 
Prizes and author judges graciously provided by ABRAMS. 


Promote this and other SLM activities with an evergreen "Your School Library: Where Learning Never Ends" bookmark or poster!
